What Are The Benefits of The LOGO! 8?

The Siemens LOGO! 8 offers significant benefits for users of LOGO! 6 devices in including the price and availability benefits now that the LOGO! 6 is a spares part.

Siemens LOGO! 8 has eight basic modules that now have an Ethernet connection allowing program transfer and communication on standard Ethernet networks. Siemens LOGO! 8 can be incorporated into large automation networks for communication to SIMATIC S7-compatible devices, and Modbus TCP/IP integrated.

The eight basic modules have improved hardware to the LOGO! 6 and have an extended temperature range without condensation with a range of -20 to 55 °C. The LOGO! 8 display now has double the space available compared to the LOGO! 6 device and has three background colours to choose from, ideal for displaying warnings and signalling.

In addition to the embedded Ethernet communication the new LOGO! 8 has an integrated web server for cost-effective remote user control and monitoring of the program. The design of the web server interface allows users to create web pages even if you have no HTML experience.

The Siemens LOGO! 8 can also be used as a cost-effective data logger allowing monitoring of processes combined with the LOGO! Access tool users can now export the data to a CSV file.

What is The Difference Between LOGO! 6 And LOGO! 8
